Classes
The world is at our doorstep. Almost 120 languages are spoken in Guilford County. The ends of the earth have truly come to us. English as a Second Language is our front door to the world. It is evangelism in action. This ministry brings people of all religions inside the walls of our church, where they see Christ’s love demonstrated by caring teachers, assistants, childcare workers, and others.
Lawndale offers three levels of English classes to meet every fluency need. Classes meet each Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Take copies to give to friends, acquaintances, and people you know or meet through work. Because the world is at our doorstep.

Volunteer Opportunities
The NC Baptists hosted an ESL Teachers' Training workshop. Six from Lawndale participated in this 12-hour training and received their certificates. Thank you Travis, Van and Fumiyo, Kelly, Katie, and Nathan. Please pray for the entire ESL team at Lawndale as we welcome new and returning students to our kickoff to the fall semester on Sunday night, September 8.
